Receive your bicycle and start a cycling trip from the village

8:30 am Receive your bicycle from the village away from the urban life of the downtown. Here will be a place where you are able to attend some interesting activities to truly become an insider and become a ‘master’ in making handicrafts, and knifes as well as a professional chef and a mud fisher. And the bicycle which is your main transportation in the village nearby the ferry station.

9:00 am After crossing the river by local ferry to the unknown village for tourist, your first visit will be the Blacksmith Workshop where you experience the way, local workers, using bomb shells to make agricultural tools and making some handicraft toys from coconut leaf. And yes, your challenge will be making your own toy so be prepared.

10:00 am right after the Blacksmith Workshop you will be cycling around the village from the bumpy to the smoothest road one and experience the daily life of local people in the village here and along with their ecosystem of small canals. You then stop at the plant nursery farm for a brief understanding about the incredible technique of local farmers are seeding on the banana leaves.

10:30 am You then stop at a house of a local farmer where you will have a cooking class to make the most traditional cakes of the Southwest such as banh khot, banana cake and jackfruit leave cake, etc. Each cake will have their own stories and our tour guide will be here to explain the meaning of the cakes.

Hungry after a long ride? Lunch is already prepared with local cuisine at 11:30 am Bonne petite! After lunch, take a short rest and then you will change your clothes to ‘ao ba ba’- a common dress of farmer in the Mekong Delta and experience the very next activities: mud fishing.

3:30 pm Move back to the ferry station, our motorbike/minivan will pick you up and transfer to the downtown. On the way back, you will slowly look at the Floating Market with beautiful scenery or simply gossip with your tour guide. And if the time is allowed, we then stop by the rest stop

4:30 pm Arrival downtown. Saying farewell with our tour guide for a wonderful journey to be an insider. Saying “hen gap lai” (see you again!) and stay in mind with an unforgettable memory.
