TRIP ITINERARY

7:00 am, say goodbye the busy Can Tho town for a great day to Ben Tre

You are picked up at your hotel in Can Tho downtown and head to Ben Tre province, the country’s largest producer of coconuts. Visit a handmade broom workshop to get a clear understanding of how various useful brooms are made. It is a simple craft and so meaningful as coconut brings jobs to a lot of people in this region.

Then, visit a coir factory to learn how natural coconut fiber extracted from the husk of coconut is processed into floor mats, doormats, brushes and mattresses.

10:00 am, relaxing time at our homestay, local lunch, biking & kayaking activity

Arriving at a lovely homestay in Ben Tre after more than 2 hours drive, we start biking through beautiful small villages.

Make a nice stop at coconut processing workshop. It is amazing to see how locals process coconuts manually and how they use every parts of coconut fruits from skin, husk, white meat, water, etc. in their daily life. Cross a river with coconut trees along the bank by a little ferry.

Come back to our local homestay for having a great lunch with delicious Mekong Delta cuisine. You can help local family to prepare lunch by joining a funny cooking activity.

Around 1.30pm, after Lunch join the fantastic Kayaking in magnificent jungle lined tributaries. Enjoy your great moments paddling and relaxing under the shade of coconut trees along the riverbank; immerse yourselves in the peaceful rural life of South Vietnam.

6:00 pm, arrive back to Can Tho city with unforgettable memories

Travel back to Can Tho city and then you are dropped off at hotel at around 6:00 pm depending on traffic.
