DAY 1: CAN THO - FLOATING MARKET - KAYAKING

Capture sunrise at Cai Rang floating market

5:00 am guide and minivan will pick you up at your hotel in Can Tho downtown then go to the boat station to board boat and be ready for a great morning river trip. Arrive at the biggest Cai Rang floating market by sampan and tour around for catching up pretty images about the floating market at its trading time. Enjoy Vietnamese coffee and fruit at the floating market on the boat, which will bring you close to local lifestyles.

11:00 am Join the exciting Kayaking. Paddling a kayak through a canal with the shade of coconut trees beside the bank across many bridges and admiring the area’s natural beauty of the village has become a favorite activity for visitors.

Embark on a cycling trip through the beauty of the countryside

Start biking through the beautiful small village, and cross the river on the ferry with locals. Make a nice stop at Vermicelli and the blacksmith workshop. It is amazing to see how locals process knives manually and how they make vermicelli for tasting in their daily lives.

Experience the process of forging knives performed by local artisans

DAY 2: BEN TRE - SAI GON - CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP  (B, L)

Visit brick-making factory 

7:00 am Upon arrival at Hàm Luông pier, embark on a cruise along the Bến Tre River to explore the bustling activities along its banks, witnessing traditional brick-making techniques involving printing and baking. Visit one of the numerous coconut processing workshops situated along the canal. Navigate through narrow natural scissors creeks, gradually immersing into village life.

Take a stroll to a family workshop where sleep mats are crafted, indulging in some fresh fruits and tea.

Glide along shaded paths on a motor cart (xe lôi) or bicycle, passing verdant rice fields and vegetable plains, experiencing authentic rural life and delving into tropical culture with local peasants. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant to further explore local cuisine.

2:00 pm taste the amazing homemade chocolate before ending your tour in Sai Gon center

Discover the cocoa garden and the process of making chocolate products

After getting back to the pier, the private car brings us to visit a chocolate homemade factory where “Mr. Old Chocolate” builds up his business not only to help cacao farmers sell cacao fruit but also to bring Vietnamese cacao product out of the world. You have a great chance to visit the cacao garden and see the whole process to make various cacao products in the organic system. Sample a little dark chocolate and milk, amazing taste! You are dropped off in Sai Gon center at around 4:00 pm depending on traffic.
