Day 1: Explore Nga Nam Floating Market and Soc Trang Sights.

4:30 am our guide will pick you up at the hotel in Can Tho and then transfer to the pier and board boat, visit the hidden Nga Nam floating market. 5:30 arrive at the floating market after an hour's drive. This picturesque floating market deserves a visit due to its authentic atmosphere as you will mostly see small wooden boats gathering together at the intersection of 5 river canals for trading local commodities, in a very less touristic environment.

9:00 am Visit Clay Pagoda. The formal name Buu Son Tu, Chu Dat Set or Clay Pagoda which is located at the heart of Soc Trang, is one of the most famous destinations in this province. With the history of more than 200 years ago, this pagoda is now run by members of the Ngo family's fourth generation. Unassuming from the outside since it resembles more of a resident house than a pagoda, but it is highly unusual in that nearly every object inside is made entirely of clay. With four pairs of giant candles that weigh 200kg each burning before 1975 until now, made one of the well-known things for this pagoda.

10:30 pm Visit Bat Pagoda. Time for exploring mysterious colors of this ancient temple in Soc Trang. With a distance of about 4km from Soc Trang City. Chua Doi, Wat Mahatup or Bat Pagoda which built around the 16th century is one of the oldest Buddhist temples. And the first built over 400 years ago. The pagoda is home to huge century-old trees and many bats are hanging on the big trees and each of them is about 1kg in weight and with a wing-span of 1m to 1.5m. When the bats on the way to search for food, they made the bustling which people said like an invocation of the blessing of the bats from the Buddha. The story about pigs with five hoofs for over 20 years also made this temple more attractive and mysterious.  

12:00 noon you will lunch at the local restaurant with local cuisine for the most typical Mekong Delta food. After that, you will travel back to Can Tho.

4:00 pm check-in the eco-homestay located in Can Tho countryside where you could relax in a peaceful environment. Before having a great dinner with amazing food. Overnight the homestay to be ready for the next excursion day.

DAY 2 Can Tho River Tour - Sa Dec - Saigon

Cai Rang floating market

6:00 am. Let’s depart to Cai Rang floating market embark on a wooden boat to enjoy this authentic floating market. Now you are navigating through the small colorful boats, and our guide will explain to you more about the importance of this trading spot for the local people where big boats loaded with any kind of local fruits and vegetables. Some boats stay there for days until they sold out all their goods! 

Enjoy a hot Vietnamese coffee and a delicious rice noodle soup freshly cooked by some local sellers on their boats.

Then, the local homemade rice noodle workshop is waiting for you. Ready to learn how to make traditional noodles and become a rice noodle Expert? You will also have the opportunity to try an amazing dish: Noodle Pizza! Yummy!

9:30 am. Later on, we depart for Dong Thap Province on country roads. A perfect moment to catch up pictures of the busy morning life of our beautiful Mekong Delta with stretching rice fields, vegetable gardens, poultry, and other daily life scenes. The driver then brings you to Sa Dec Flower village where you will deeply understand how important flowers are in this region.

The flower village more than 200 years old with over 1000 houses are doing the flower plantation business, right here you can see so many colors of many kinds of flower what makes your picture even colorful.

And please don’t miss the Ancient House and its incredible love story between Huynh Thuy Le and French-writer Marguerite Duras. The house brings you back to the French colony's time with a very old but unique of the house architecture. You then also could experience the daily life of local people here at the wet market where our guide could offer you some of the seasonal fruit here.

12:00 am. Have lunch before heading up to Saigon after a 3-hours drive. Along the way back you will stop by the chocolate homemade where Mekong Delta people are making the chocolate from cacao fruits. End your amazing trip for 2 days with unforgettable memories and incredible experiences ever.
