Day 1: SAI GON - CAI BE - SA DEC - CAN THO (L, D)

7:00 am, are you ready to find out why Mekong Delta is an amazing place to visit?

7:00 am, you are warmly welcomed by our tour guide at the hotel in Sai Gon Center. Get in a car to travel down Mekong Delta to Cai Be Town belong to Tien Giang province where is renowned for abundant fruits orchards and welcoming people always give you a friendly smile. Upon arrival, begin cruising from Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am.

From the sampan, you can observe the rustic life onshore. People are going on their daily activities against picturesque landscapes while enjoying tea and seasonal fruits are served on deck. Before arriving at Sa Dec, stop along the river for a look at some of the local manufactories in the region including a brick factory where everything is made by hand, pass monkey bridges and tiny villages to visit a Cao Dai temple.

Arrive in Sa Dec and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit one of the highlights of the charming town, the Huynh Thuy Le ancient house, a real-life character in the celebrated novel and film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras.

Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho along a narrow canal teeming with life. Explore the countryside surroundings by local rowboat. The last stopover before sunset is at an ancient house, dating back to the 19th century. The owner will welcome you and a candlelit dinner is served in this authentic setting.

After dinner return on board while the Song Xanh continues its way towards the Hau River. Overnight on board.

Day 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET AND EXPERIENCE LOCAL LIFE AT OUR HOMESTAY/RESORT (B, L, D)

6:00 am time to discover river life with authentic Cai Rang floating market

Wake up early at 6:00 am for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which operates daily starting from 5:00 am. Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables from the Delta, making for some stunning photos.

Continue cruising towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty. The car will pick you up from there to travel to a local eco-Homestay/Resort which is truly ecological and non-touristic. It’s up to you to decide whether to take the biking trip or kayaking first.

10:00 am, Experience the Vietnamese hospitality and lifestyle by going to a local Homestay/Resort.

This luxury and authentic Homestay/Resort is located deep in the countryside surrounding Can Tho city. There, you will join a funny cooking activity with your host, and for sure, you will become a Chef!

After an authentic and hearty lunch, get ready for some exercise!

Join the kayaking trip in magnificent jungle tributaries, and enjoy a relaxing moment paddling under the shade of coconut trees along the riverbank.

Finally, get on your bike for a last ride, cycling through a picturesque village, to get an insight of how life goes in this part of the country. On the way, we stop to visit the Cacao Garden where you will get to know how to make fresh chocolate and wine from cacao fruit in an organic system. You also can have a chance to taste one of the product here such as cacao milk, cacao wine or chocolate bar.

Day 3: PHONG DIEN –CAN THO CITY - SAI GON (B, L)

Check out at the Homestay/Resort then at 5:00 am you depart for visiting Phong Dien floating market, leave your luggage on the boat. The floating market is very small but peaceful which will give you another feeling compared to that in the big market.

After that, we head to small, long and narrow canals to see the daily activities of people living around there. Take a short walk around the countryside to enjoy the peaceful environment there.

4:00 pm, our minivan will drop you off in Ho Chi Minh City.

You then pick up by the private car to visit the Can Tho city by topping by some of the most highlights local attraction as Binh Thuy ancient house, Can Tho wet market, Can Tho ancient market, Ong Pagoda, Khmer pagoda.

Take your light lunch at a local restaurant, before leaving this lovely city. The travel distance from Can Tho city to Saigon is 180km, what takes you more than 3 hours to arrive. Along the way, We will also stop at a beautiful Pagoda, very famous in Mekong delta. Finish your trip with great memories in Mekong Delta and unforgettable ever.
