TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1: 6:30 am a day out to sacred & beautiful land

Let’s say good bye the busy Can Tho, we make a long drive, about 3 hour, to visit the beautiful Tra Su forest. Freely enjoy the wonderful nature with range of mangrove trees, water surface full of green duckweek, cruising along little tunnels by speedboat and sampan. From high tower overlooking the forest, you can easily get a panoramic view of the forest and it’s creature.

11:00 am lunch time, back to Can Tho town and discover its night life

Have your lunch with delicious local food in the middle of forest. On way back to Can Tho town, visit Long Xuyen crocodile farm, home to thousands of crocodiles. Learn how people h bring up and develop business with them. Spend time at Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary (depending on the season), watch various storks gathering together after a long day finding food. Enjoy local food & Overnight at hotel in Can Tho.

Day 2: 5:30 am excited morning time with floating market and trip to coconut hometown

Wake up, please! After warmly pick up, we board a lovely wooden boat and make our way to the largest Cai Rang ﬂoating market; catch up pretty images in the crowd of traders who are really busy to do trading local commodities on boat. Visit a local noodle workshop, learn the whole process to make rice noodle traditionally.

Time for great exercise with rowing SUP on the Mekong River

Join the fantastic Rowing SUP in magnificent jungle lined tributaries; paddle under the shade of coconut trees along the bank; immerse yourselves in rustic rural life of South Vietnam. In the early evening, have a warm dinner together with the tasty Mekong Delta cuisine. Overnight at Homestay/Resort.

Day 3: 7:00 am cruising in Ben Tre - a deep understanding about how life goes here

Have local breakfast at Homestay/Resort, then minivan brings us to Ben Tre, the country’s famous sight for its coconut product and trees, it takes more than 2 hour drive.

Visit coconut processing workshop; get into the little ferry overlooking a large beautiful part of river. By boat, we visit traditional brickwork to see how to make bricks by hand; navigate through coconut jungle, visit coconut candy workshop, try some sweet, fruits and listen to local music, visit the farmer house who make sleep mats, see feeding bee, enjoy honey tea. Tons of things to see! Drive tuktuk through coconut grove, vegetable plains (cucumber, bitter melon...). Keep going by row boat on shady palm tree canal and stop for lunch at riverside restaurant.

1:00 pm, taste the best Mekong chocolate before we end the journey

Minivan later brings us to a chocolate homemade factory where “Mr Old Chocolate” built up his business not only to help cacao farmers sell cacao fruit but also to bring Vietnamese cacao product out of the world. Sample a little dark chocolate and milk, amazing taste! You are dropped off in Sai Gon center at around 4:00 pm depending on traffic.
