DAY 1: FROM SAI GON/CAN THO TO THE LOTUS LAND

7:30 am Our tour guide and minivan will pick you up at your hotel in Sai Gon/Can Tho. After a brief introduction about the itineraries, you will go straight to the land of lotus flowers check-in the beautiful Bungalow Homestay (Around 3 hours by car) and Celebrate Tet in the rural Mekong Delta of Vietnam to enjoy an enchanting experience, where we can immerse ourselves in the lively and warm traditional atmosphere.

Making coconut jam, or "mut dua," is another distinct aspect of the Tet experience in the Mekong Delta. Participants engage in the process of creating sweet and chewy coconut candies from fresh, tender coconut strands. The sight of each finished piece, vibrant in color and flavor, contributes to a cozy and joyful Tet atmosphere.

DAY 2: LOTUS FLOWER REGION

We make a morning tour to wonderful land with authentic nature, National Park and enjoy the sunrise

Upon arrival, surprisingly enjoy the rural landscape; take the boat trip cruising on the long narrow channels. The park shows its charming beauty with a lively green color of plants, the featured color of water bringing itself alluvium to enrich our homeland. From December to June every year, you are able to watch birds gathering in this area.

Enjoy a wonderful breakfast with a local traditional menu

Witness the sunrise on the serene farm and back to the homestay to enjoy a wonderful breakfast with a local traditional menu.

Tet greetings!

Extending Tet greetings, especially meeting with local farmers, adds a personal touch to the celebration. Engaging with the hardworking individuals who cultivate the land and exchanging warm wishes further enriches the cultural experience.

Venturing into the countryside's local markets

Venturing into the countryside's local markets is a vibrant affair, revealing the vivid hues of rural life. Purchasing watermelons, carrying baskets to the market, and exploring flower markets all contribute to a lively and bustling Tet atmosphere. Stalls filled with fresh flowers, sweet fruits, and local specialties create an atmosphere of celebration and excitement.

Lunchtime!

For lunch, savor a local menu sourced directly from the farm's clean and fresh produce. Take a midday break on the stilt house amid the pristine green fields. This is a journey into the heart of nature, where the simplicity of farm life unfolds, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

Indulge in a light meal of traditional local pastries, and immerse yourself in the experience of cultivating lotus with local farmers, tending to rice paddies, and engaging in activities like water buffalo plowing, fishing, and net casting. As the day unfolds, prepare for and enjoy a dinner featuring Southern cuisine in a vintage cultural setting that exudes tranquility.

DAY 3: LOTUS REGION TO SAI GON/CAN THO

Welcomes the sunrise on the serene farm and enjoys a breakfast from the local traditional menu. Engage in the delightful experience of making and savoring traditional pastries (2). Capture memorable moments with smiles amidst the lotus flowers, freely immerse yourself in the space of clean, natural fields in an environment free from chemicals.

 

Check-in at the green rice fields

Don't forget to check in at the long wooden bridge that stretches across the green fields adorned with pink lotus flowers and vibrant multicolored grass of Dong Thap Muoi. It's a moment to appreciate the unspoiled beauty of nature.

Lunch time!

Lunch at the beautiful stay and around noon, from Dong Thap, a private car will pick you up to depart back for Ho Chi Minh City/Can Tho

As the day draws to a close, depart for Ho Chi Minh/Can Tho around 12:00 noon, carrying with you the indelible memories of a day spent immersed in the charm and authenticity of the Mekong Delta.

It might take you almost 3 and a half-hour drive. Arrive around 4:00 pm
