DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA

 

Pick up at Tan Son Nhat airport then transfer to Mekong Delta
Depart to the capital of Mekong Delta - Cantho city. Along the way, you will enjoy a lovely lunch at a local restaurant at 11:30 am. On the car, our tour guide will briefly give you a schedule, interesting information about Can Tho as well as the Mekong Delta, and much more about the potential of tourism development in Can Tho city.

02:30 pm Check-in at the hotel in Can Tho city. From now, you will have a short rest before further activity.
05:00 pm Enjoy a fresh atmosphere with a cool wind from the Can Tho River while walking on the pedestrian street

Ong pagoda - an ancient and sacred place located right in the heart of the city

06:00 pm Explore the famous food street of Cantho city. You will have many chances to challenge yourself with many street foods such as rats, frogs, etc.
Visit the Ong Pagoda: this is typical for mixed cultures between Vietnamese and Chinese in the previous century. People revere Quan Thánh Đế Quân và Bà Thiên Hậu Thánh Mẫu. The most highlight is you are able to see many sculpts hangon the wall, are displayed inside that show off the excellent skillful hands of artists. You will be attracted at first sight when visiting here because a particular architecture was made.

07:00 pm Finish the sightseeing, our tour guide will pick you up and overnight at the hotel in Can Tho

 

DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – COMMUNITY- BASED VILLAGE

 

Take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit to Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole region.

Capture the sunrise at Cai Rang floating market

07:30 am After that, head back to your hotel, have breakfast, then and ready for the afternoon excursion

10:30 am Pay a visit to Munir Ansay Pagoda - a Khmer pagoda and Hung King Temple – a special architecture of Can Tho and Con Son tourist area - a community-based village.

Experience the local lifestyle on the picturesque Con Son Islet. Visit the floating fish farm, and see how people raise fish right under their floating houses! Also, enjoy a short walk through the fruit orchards and learn more about agriculture in Mekong Delta. And taste some delicious fruits, freshly picked from the tree!

Immerse in the cultural delights in the community-based village at Son islet

Have you ever been curious about how typical Mekong Delta dishes are cooked? Have you ever wished to join an amazing cooking class to become a local Chef? Our expert tour guide and local cook will show you how to make some of the best dishes in our region such as Vietnamese pancakes, Baby pancakes, and many more. Are you ready to lend a hand? DAY 3: HO CHI MINH CU CHI - SIGHTSEEINGS

 

7:30 am After having breakfast, pick up then transfer you travel up to Cu Chi Tunnels to discover the incredible underground world of the Tunnels. The tunnels were dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts. Try the local cassava root that sustained guerrilla fighters for years.

Exploring the maze of tunnels and discovering the legacy of the Viet Minh.

Learn more about the courage & ingenuity of the inhabitants of the Cu Chi tunnels. Get a great insight into the tenacity and resourcefulness of Vietnamese people.

11:30 am Have a great lunch at the local restaurant and be ready for the wonderful experience in the afternoon

1:30 pm Depart for tour to Independence Palace - You will have a chance to hear stories about the history of the city in this work, which is strongly related to the history of Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular. The history of the Independence Palace's founding- from the time of French colonialism until its current name will be given in the visit
Post Office: Visit The Central Sai Gon post office, bringing itself the charming beauty of the mixture of Western and Asian styles. This place is still operating normally for people with modern communication services besides many traditional services. It also remains phone booths to serve locals and visitors who have contact needs as well
as want to get the memory of a past time.
Notre Dame Cathedral: In front of the Central Post Office is the Notre Dame Cathedral with very tall bell tower. So far, nearly 140 years, it seems that time cannot ruin the splendor of this architecture.
Visit the Reunification Palace, known as the workplace for the President of South Vietnam prior to the Vietnam / American War. The president used this place to plan his strategy against North Vietnam during the war. On the way to the next destination, we can see the Secret CIA building, an interesting spot because it signaled the last hours of the Vietnam war.
▪ Later, we move to the War Remnants Museum. As its name, the remnants of Vietnam and the American War are displayed. Do prepare for yourselves before coming inside because you will experience moving moments seeing cities as a result of the war. It is a reminder that Vietnam has gone through its darkest history.

Shopping at Sai Gon Square and Ben Thanh market, the enjoy your dinner at the local restaurant.
Then, back to the hotel and enjoy your stay before coming to the airport in the next day

 

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE
