Day 1: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET AND EXPERIENCE RIVER LIFE (B, L, D)
Cai Rang floating market
5:30 am We pick you up at then transport you to the pier, board the boat, and visit the largest Cai Rang floating market in Vietnam, get to know how people here trade on the river cleverly.
Arrive at the pier, you will then get on the boat to visit Cai Rang floating market, the biggest floating market in Vietnam. What a fantastic experience to explore how the local people are living on their boats as they considered their second home for cooking, sleeping, and trading on the river. You are able to catch up with many incredible images of their trading times to local vendors. Sometimes you can see the rosters and puppy dogs on their boats as much similar as people who live on land.
Enjoy Vietnamese coffee at the market; climbing up to a fruit boat for enjoying fresh pineapple, so nice!
Visit a local rice noodle factory
Visit a local rice noodle factory to learn how the Mekong people make noodles by hand in a traditional way.
Experience the charm and beauty of Mekong Delta by sailing along small, green and shady waterways and stop to visit the Dragon Fruit Garden to learn about the fascinating cultivation process of this super fruit, from planting to harvesting, as well as have the opportunity to savor fresh fruit and take a lot of wonderful pictures.

DAY 2: EXPLORE THE KHMER CULTURE - ANCIENT SITES (B, L, D)
Clay Pagoda in Soc Trang province
7:30 am Depart to visit Clay Pagoda in Soc Trang province. The formal name Buu Son Tu, Chu Dat Set or Clay Pagoda which is located at the heart of Soc Trang is one of the most famous destinations in this province. With a history of more than 200 years ago, this pagoda is now run by members of the Ngo family's fourth generation. Unassuming from the outside since it resembles more of a resident house than a pagoda, but it is highly unusual in that nearly every object inside is made entirely of clay. With four pairs of giant candles that weigh 200kg each burning before 1975 until now, made one of the well-known things for this pagoda.
9:30 am Visit Bat Pagoda to explore the mysterious colors of the ancient temple in Soc Trang. With a distance of about 4km from Soc Trang City. Chua Doi, Wat Mahatup or Bat Pagoda which was built around the 16th century is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Kampuchea-Krom having first constructed over 400 years ago. The pagoda is home to huge century-old trees and a large number of bats each of which are about 1kg in weight and with a wing span of 1m to 1.5m. When the bats were on the way to search for food, they made the bustling which people said was like an invocation of the blessing of the bats from the Buddha. The story about pigs with five hoofs for over 20 years also made this temple more attractive and mysterious. 10:30 am Visit Pagoda of Decorative Bowls.
The famous pagodas in Soc Trang are not only Clay Pagoda (Buu Son Tu) or Doi Pagoda..., but also Chen Kieu Pagoda. This is the oldest temple in Soc Trang, built for nearly 500 years ago. This temple is decorated with elaborate patterns with bright colors according to the Cham cultural style of the ancient Khmer. With thousands of bowls of all sizes attached to its roof, walls, and pillars, Chua Chen Kieu (Pagoda of Decorative Bowls) is a spectacular example of Khmer architecture. 11:30 am have lunch at a beautiful local restaurant.
12:30 depart for the House of Bac Lieu Dude – Must come place in Bac Lieu to deeply understand myths behind the reputation of the mansion. The mansion is associated with the anecdote of Bac Lieu Dandy Tran Trinh Huy and some stories about this infamous guy in the Southern province of Bac Lieu in the early 20th century. With the asset value is up to over 17 billion dollars, the house owns a luxury color of white and splendid French architecture with the combination between the Eastern and Western culture. All of the cast steel, marble, bricks, etc. were carved with the letter P which means ‘originating from Paris’ - the magnificent capital of French. The most prominent house in six Southern provinces at that time featured not only by the splendid architecture but also by the precious interior furniture with many different rare antiques. This attractive house is difficult to ignore if visitors ever have an opportunity to visit Bac Lieu.
Bac Lieu wind farm
3:00 pm visit the Bac Lieu wind farm. Located in Vinh Trach Dong commune of Bac Lieu city, the Bac Lieu wind farm is one of the most attractive tourist destinations of the Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu. This place delivers clean wind electricity to the national power grid with a total of 62 wind turbines which each one has a height of 80 meters and a weight of more than 200 tonnes. This beautiful scene, as well as a spectacular tourist attraction, will bring new breaths for those who have a chance to visit the Bac Lieu wind farm which considered as ‘the country of the windmill’ – distant Netherlands. 5:00 pm back to the peaceful eco-Homestay and have a delicious dinner at this place.
DAY 3: DAY OUT OF NATURE (B, L, D)
Tra Su forest
7:30 am depart for a great day out to An Giang province for exploring the Tra Su forest. On the way to reach An Giang, visit Long Xuyen Crocodile Camp where you will have a leisurely walk in the garden with the biological diversity of plant species; rare animal species are preserved and developed with crocodiles.
Tra Su Forest in Chau Doc Town is the most beautiful destination in Mekong Delta. The travel distance takes you almost a 3-hour drive to reach this most beautiful site which makes it a must-visit place once you set foot in the city. With 845 hectares of Cajuput trees in the forest, this area has become a Green-paradise world. On the way, have lunch at the local restaurant.
Take the local speed boat, cruising along small canals for relaxing and comfortable moments with the view that all of the trees are sunk deep in the water, creating a unique environment and urging you to discover this “sunken” forest. From high towers looking at the forest, all of the wildlife of the local creatures can be able to observe.
A Sacred and Holy place for Buddhists
2:00 pm go-ahead to Chau Doc downtown, visit the traditional trading market, Sam Mountain, a Sacred and Holy place for Buddhists as well as some beautiful pagodas on the mountain which are usually about 2 centuries old and they attract many believers every year. 5:00 pm Check-in and stay overnight in one of the most luxurious hotels in Chau Doc.
DAY 4: EXPLORE THE CHAM CULTURE (B, L, D)
7:00 Depart for the Ha Tien province. On the way to reach this delighted destination, visit some of the famous local attractions here. Visit Cham Village. In addition to exploring the Cham Culture, the village is also known as a unique and interesting tourist spot attracting many tourists.
It will not be a wise decision if you ignore Cham Village which owns the unique and harmonious cultural characteristics for your Mekong Delta tour. A visit to this attractive destination is seen as a wonderful excursion, bringing you lots of valuable things about both the culture and people of The Cham community. You can learn about the life, customs and the traditional weaving profession of Cham Muslim people.
Visit the unique floating fish farms which is considered as one of the most famous attractions in Chau Doc that you should visit once in your magnificent Mekong Delta tour. You can explore the daily life of the fish farmers, understand more about Khmer people’s life and how they earn living. It’s a fascinating discovery to admire the process of raising fish in the river and become a fisherman to take raw materials for fish food, feed them,...
1:30 depart for Ha Tien after having lunch at the local restaurant in Chau Doc. 3:30 pm Check-in the beautiful hotel in Ha Tien next to the riverside where you could explore the city by night quite easily. You are free to walk around the town.
6:00 pm have dinner at the hotel and then visit the Night market for a more unique experience. The night market in Ha Tien is so famous and interesting because of some of Ha Tien's cheapest and best eats. There are a large number of trinkets, clothes, souvenirs, excellent street food outlets, and also grilled fresh seafood. You can enjoy the nightlife of the local people when visiting this place. 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm back to your hotel and enjoy a good rest before your last day in the Mekong Delta.
Day 5: HA TIEN – PHU QUOC(B)
Have a lovely breakfast at the hotel and you then check out to be ready at Ha Tien pier depart for Phu Quoc at 8:00 am. Goodbye Mekong Delta with a great memory and unforgettable trip ever with us.
