Day 1: THE DAY OF KHMER CULTURE (L, D)

7:30 am morning greet! A trip to get off the beaten track Pick up at hotel and say goodbye with the busy Can Tho town, we make our way to Soc Trang province, which takes about one and half an hours by minivan. 

Visit Clay Pagoda 

The formal name Buu Son Tu, Chu Dat Set or Clay Pagoda which is located at the heart of Soc Trang, is one of the most famous destinations in this province. With the history of more than 200 years ago, this pagoda is now run by members of the Ngo family's fourth generation. Unassuming from the outside since it resembles more of a resident house than a pagoda, but it is highly unusual in that nearly every object inside is made entirely of clay. With four pairs of giant candles that weigh 200kg each burning before 1975 until now, made one of the well-known things for this pagoda.

2:30 pm Visit Bat Pagoda

Time for exploring mysterious colors of this ancient temple in Soc Trang. 
With a distance of about 4km from Soc Trang City. Chua Doi, Wat Mahatup or Bat Pagoda which built around the 16th century is one of the oldest Buddhist temples. And the first built over 400 years ago. The pagoda is home to huge century-old trees and many bats are hanging on the big trees and each of them is about 1kg in weight and with a wing-span of 1m to 1.5m. When the bats on the way to search for food, they made the bustling which people said like an invocation of the blessing of the bats from the Buddha. The story about pigs with five hoofs for over 20 years also made this temple more attractive and mysterious.  

Visit Pagoda of Decorative Bowls

The famous pagodas in Soc Trang well known as Clay Pagoda (Buu Son Tu) and Bat pagoda. But the Chen Kieu pagoda is the oldest temple in Soc Trang, built for nearly 500 years ago. This temple is decorated with elaborate patterns with bright colors according to the Cham cultural style of the ancient Khmer. With thousands of bowls of all sizes attached to its roof, walls, and pillars, Chua Chen Kieu (Pagoda of Decorative Bowls) is a spectacular example of Khmer architecture.

11:30 am enjoy your lovely lunch at the local restaurant with Mekong Delta Cuisine

Come back Can Tho downtown. Take a short rest and be ready for the exercise in the afternoon

3:00 pm fantastic rowing SUP activity, a great way to immerse yourself in nature

Are you ready for exercise? Join the fantastic Rowing SUP in magnificent jungle-lined tributaries. Enjoy your great moments paddling and relaxing under the shade of coconut trees along the bank; immerse yourselves in the Mekong River.

After your wonderful rowing SUP trip, back to enjoy lovely dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at the peaceful environment of Homestay/Resort.

Day 2. Good morning Mekong with a radiant smile (B, L, D)

5:30 am. Be ready for breakfast at the Homestay/Resort and the get on boat to depart for the largest Cai Rang floating market. Amazing! By boat, we tour around to capture all beautiful moments of local traders who are starting their daily trading on boats. Joining the hustle and bustle of this market on river is really a unique experience. Enjoy Vietnamese coffee and fruit at the floating market on boat- one of amazing experience which will bring you close to local life styles. Later, our boat continues its way to stunning narrow canals, great time to take relaxing moments in peaceful environment. 8:30 am feel the scent of chocolate before our travel to sacred land After the boat cruise, walk on magnificent rural path, we make a nice stop at the cacao plantation where you will see the art of making fresh chocolate and other various products organically.

9:30 am minivan transports us to An Giang province - the beautiful and sacred land of Mekong Delta. Along the way of your journey, we will stop at a nice restaurant for having lunch with local delicious dishes Mekong should offer.

12:30 am wonderful time with nature

Arriving in the Tra Su forest, immerse yourselves in the wonderful nature of forest with green duckweed on the water’s surface. Firstly, we take the local speedy boat cruising along small channels then move to rowing sampan boat peacefully weaving in the middle of forest. What a fantastic feeling! From high tower overlooking the forest, you can easily observe daily activities of beautiful creature. Take good rest while enjoying the peaceful environment of the forest. Have lunch in the forest before heading back to Can Tho city at around 3:00 pm 3:00 pm depart for Can Tho Minivan and guide brings you back to Can Tho city, drop off at the hotel at around 6:00 pm with nice memories of Mekong region. Day 3. Can Tho -Dong Thap – Vinh Long (B, L)

8:00 am Let's say "Xin Chao" a great Mekong Day Trip in Dong Thap & Vinh Long After your breakfast at the hotel, 8:00 am Hieutour Co ., Ltd’s Tour Guide and minivan will pick you up at the hotel then depart for Dong Thap province for you to fully explore the beauty of flower village & ancient house. After 2 hours of transferring, The first attraction is Sa Dec flower village where there are many kinds of beautiful flowers. One of the most typical features of Sa Dec, different from other flower growing villages, is that Sa Dec villagers grow flowers all year round and you see flowers blooming in some specific times of years.

Visit Ancient House which is a great combination of Eastern and Western architecture. Moreover, what makes this house so famous is the romantic love of a well-known writer Marguerite Duras with Mr. Huynh Thuy Le. This sad love story later told in her work "L'amant" in French and "The Lover" in Vietnamese, was published in 1984 and won the most prestigious literary prize in France, the Goncourt. In 1986, it was filmed by the director Jean-Jacques Annaud with the same name.

12:00 Noon explore the charming An Binh island in Vinh Long town Around 12:00 noon, we reach another land named Vinh Long. At the pier, boat driver and a lovely boat welcome us and transfer to a nice Homestay/Resort for lunch. Enjoy your meal with delicious Mekong dishes. 1:00 pm, Take the boat trip to travel around An Binh Island at 1:00 pm visit Coconut Candy Factory, Rice Popcorn Factory, and taste its products right there. What a great moment to learn how the local people are still maintaining their traditional techniques to produce coconut candy and rice popcorn as nowadays, we only can buy at the supermarket but without seeing every single step for making them. Awaken your senses, Smell - Touch - Taste and Learn about a world of tropical fruit at the next stop. You will visit Fruit Garden while you have the pleasure of trying some different tropical fruit in its season such as rambutan, longan, guava, etc... that tastes are only found in the Mekong Delta. Back to the Minivan at around 3:00 pm then head straight to your hotel in Sai Gon Center, arrive at around 6:00 pm.
