Day 1: BEN TRE – TRA VINH – CAN THO (L)
7:30 am Pickup at your accomodation in Ben Tre province to depart for Tra Vinh to explore these oldest Combodian pagodas of Mekong Delta and local attractions in Tra Vinh. Along the way of travel you then have many opportunities to capture the amazing sites of Mekong Delta daily life.
The Kompông Chrây pagoda
9:00 am arrive at the Kompông Chrây pagoda was built in year 1637. The pagoda has been many years restoration after the Vietnam War. You will be attract by the architecture of the whole buidling with many symbol of Buddhism that drawed on the wall inside our outside of the pagoda.
Ao Ba Om pagoda
9:30 am visit the next famous attract place name Ba Om lake, this is one of the most popular destination of Tra Vinh city that most of travelers should never miss out of their travel plan. The Ba Om lake is very special with many old trees are planted around.
The Khmer Cultural Museum
10:30 am visit the Khmer Cultural Museum where you could experience the time of this place from the beginning of the emty land to the morden city after 150 years. Inside with more than 800 artifacts are display in the museum.
Enjoy local cuisine
12:00 noon. Have lunch at a local restaurant where you could enjoy the typical food of Mekong Delta before heading up to Can Tho city. Arrive in Can Tho city at around 3:30 pm you then check in the hotel in the Can Tho city downtown and have a nice evening by discover the city by night time
Day 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CYCLING TRIP – PRIVATE CAR RACH GIA (B, L)
Capture the sunrise at Cai Rang floating market
5:30 am guide will pick you up at your hotel in downtown Then transport the boat station to get on your boat for exploring river life. What a great morning outdoor activity to get know more Mekong Delta local life along the way to explore authentic Cai Rang floating market. The distance from downtown to floating market location is 7km by river system. It might take almost an hour to reach there as your boat speed is depending on the river tide.
6:00 am arrive at the authentic Cai Rang floating market
Learn how to make strands of rice noodle at the rice noodle workshop
Visit Cai Rang floating market, the biggest floating market in Vietnam to experience how people here are living and trading their agriculture products on their boats on Mekong River. Visit Noodle factory where you can see how our local expert make fresh noodles traditionally. You can try your hand in making it. After that, the boat follow the main river and turn into little canals for discovering Mekong Delta through narrow rivers, water coconut trees and green environment.
