The Central Sai Gon post office

Visit The Central Sai Gon post office, bringing itself the charming beauty of the mixture between Western and Asian style. This place is still operating normally for people with modern communication services besides many traditional services. It also remains phone booths to serve locals and visitors who have contact needs as well as want to get the memory of a past time. In front of the Central Post Office is the Notre Dame Cathedral with very tall bell tower. So far, nearly 140 years, it seems that time cannot ruin the splendor of this achitector.

Coming back to the hard time of Vietnam in the war

Visit the Reunification Palace

Visit the Reunification Palace, known as the workplace for the President of South Vietnam prior to the Vietnam / American War. The president used this place to plan his strategy against North Vietnam during the war. On the way to the next destination, we can see the Secret CIA building, an interesting spot because it signalled the last hours of the Vietnam war. Later, we move to the War Remnants Museum. As its name, the remnants of Vietnam and American War are displayed. Do prepare for yourselves before coming inside because you will experience moving moment seeing atrocities as a result of the war. It is a reminder that Vietnam has gone through its darkest history.

Ho Thi Ky flower market

Spend your time listening to a tragic story behind the magnificent Thich Quang Duc monument. He is a Vietnamese Mahayana Buddhist monk who burned himself to death at a busy Saigon road intersection to protest the Southern President who was persecuting Buddhists. Next, minivan brings us far away from the center of Sai Gon, we reach District 5, known as the largest Chinese area of the city. Enjoy relaxing time fully cover in the fragant perfume of colorful flower at Ho Thi Ky flower market. This is one of the biggest wholesale flower markets in Sai Gon. Visit Binh Tay market, the super crowded and noisy market as a wholesale sector. It’s great for photo opportunities with some various daily activities of Sai Gon locals, different colors and shapes. Visit Thien Hau pagoda, one of the oldest, largest and most beautiful temples with Chinese style. This place attracts not only locals but also travelers to visit or do worship.
