TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1: 7:00 am minivan and guide picks you up at your hotel to explore the incredible tunnels (L,D)

The tour itself is great choice for those who would like to experience themselves about the Vietnamese War to get know more the hardest times of local people with their strongest spirit who lived underground to fight for their peace and independence. And exploring how local people are surviving from the war by getting more and more developments but still keeps their traditional living style. The travel distance from Saigon downtown to Cu Chi tunnels is 85km what takes you almost 1 and half hour drive to reach there. Please not that your travel time might takes longer time as traffic jam is the most command issue in Saigon.

8:30 am time to experience and learn what made the human spirit strongest ever

The tunnels were used as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon. Learn more about the courage & ingenuity of the inhabitants of the Cu Chi tunnels. Get a great insight into the tenacity and resourcefulness of Vietnamese people. Please do not surprise when you suddenly hear the gun shooting sounds in the middle of Cu Chi Tunnels as there is gun shooting sport next to your position. you can stop to experience, otherwise you can skip it to continue your exploration. After up and down into these incredible tunnels system underground, you will then depart for Mekong Delta. 11:30 am you will stop at local beautiful restaurant to have lunch with typical dishes cooked in traditional way of Mekong Delta region. 1:00 pm depart minivan brings you to Can Tho city, check in at a beautiful 5-star hotel in Can Tho to enjoy great services there.

5:30 pm, explore the incredible Can Tho nightlife

6:00 pm, meet you again at the hotel, we will discover the city at night not only seeing view but also tasting ton of foods in city tour on electric car. Some of them are steamed Chinese herbal chicken, fried paper, mango salad, deep-fried shrimp cake, hollow doughnuts, etc. Visit famous places of the city such as Old Market, Ong Pagoda, Ninh Kieu Quay, Night market. Afterwards, back to hotel at 9:00pm. Have a great night before exploring river life for the next day.

Day 2: Beautiful morning life on river (B,L)

5:00 am pick up at hotel and board boat for your river excursion. On a lovely sampan, we cruise on the Mekong River and visit Cai Rang floating market at its busy time. What a fantastic feeling to see how traders keep balance while trading agricultural product on their boats. Visit local noodle making base to learn the process of making rice noodle by traditional way. You will be offered Noodle Pizza, the specialty that is hard to find anywhere else. Then the wooden boat will head to small, long and narrow canals to explore the countryside and local life style of people around. Visit a cacao plantation to learn the process of making fresh chocolate, cacao wine, cacao powder and other various products in organic system.

10:00 am discover rustic Mekong life on motorcycle

Your journey is continued by a nice motorcycle trip. Cross the river on local ferry, we start exploring the local daily activities of people living far away from the crowd of Can Tho city. Enjoy peaceful moment when your guide is riding through small village on magnificent path.

1:00 pm end your tour and get back to Saigon downtown

Have lunch with delicious Mekong food offered at a nice restaurant. Private car picks you up and departs for Saigon downtown. The drive lasts about 3 and half an hour depending on traffic and you are dropped off in Sai Gon at around 5:00 pm
