Day 1: 7:00 am minivan and guide picks you up at your hotel to explore the incredible tunnels (L,D)

The tour itself is great choice for those who would like to experience themselves about the Vietnamese War to get know more the hardest times of local people with their strongest spirit who lived underground to fight for their peace and independence. And exploring how local people are surviving from the war by getting more and more developments but still keeps their traditional living style. The travel distance from Saigon downtown to Cu Chi tunnels is 85km what takes you almost 1 and half hour drive to reach there. Please not that your travel time might takes longer time as traffic jam is the most command issue in Saigon.

8:30 am time to experience and learn what made the human spirit strongest ever

The tunnels were used as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon. Learn more about the courage & ingenuity of the inhabitants of the Cu Chi tunnels. Get a great insight into the tenacity and resourcefulness of Vietnamese people. Please do not surprise when you suddenly hear the gun shooting sounds in the middle of Cu Chi Tunnels as there is gun shooting sport next to your position. you can stop to experience, otherwise you can skip it to continue your exploration. After up and down into these incredible tunnels system underground, you will then depart for Mekong Delta. At 11:30 you will stop at local beautiful restaurant to have lunch with typical dishes cooked in traditional way of Mekong Delta region.

1:00 pm depart for the beautiful capital of Mekong Delta

After lunch, with a happy belly, get back to our minivan and make a trip to Can Tho city, the central part of Mekong Delta. The trip is around 4 hours but comfortable with our expert driver. Check in and rest in Can Tho Hotel at around 5:00 pm. 5:30 pm, Get ready and we will pick you up at hotel, begin a city tour on lovely electric car with amazing local typical street food offered at food stalls and local restaurant in Can Tho town. Visit famous sights of the city as Old Market, Ong Pagoda, Ninh Kieu Quay, Food Street. Relaxing yourself at local café-music house, where you can enjoy the local drinks and local musical band performance. What a great way to learn quicker and deeper into local culture and traditional through eating and drinking. Come back to your hotel at around 8:30 pm to take a good rest.

Day 2: Can Tho – Hau Giang incredible cruising biking kayaking (B,L,D)

7:00 am pick up, we travel to pier and board boat, visit Cai Rang floating market, the largest one in Vietnam. What a fantastic way to know how locals do trading on the water! Enjoy Vietnamese coffee, typical breakfast purchasing right at the market. Visit a local rice noodle factory to learn how Mekong people make noodles by hands in traditional way. Enjoy its specialty Noodle Pizza right there. 10:00 am, travel by boat for 1 hour to reach a real local, ecological and non-touristic Hieutour Stay located in a peaceful area in peaceful Hau Giang province. Enjoy your lunch with delicious foods at the Homestay/Resort. 2:00 pm Join the fantastic Kayaking in magnificent jungle lined tributaries. Enjoy your great moments paddling and relaxing under the shade of coconut trees along the bank; immerse yourselves in a peaceful rural life of South Vietnam. It is nonstop. Cycle on the country roads along the riverside for exploring may kinds of fruits and plants with their great uses, catch up typical images of daily life here. 6:00 pm is time for our dinner. Overnight at homestay.

Day 3: Hau Giang – Can Tho – Chau Doc (B,L,D)

5:00 am, after early breakfast, check out and local speedy boat brings us to Phong Dien floating market, approximately one hour to arrive. Move to the local small wooden boat and freely watch people gather on rowing and motorized boats or trading local agricultural product. The floating market is very small but peaceful which will give you another feeling compared to the big market. Our sampan boat then head to small, long and narrow canals to see the daily activities of people living around there. Take a short walk around the countryside to enjoy the peaceful environment there. Walking on country path, we stop to visit the Cacao garden where you will get to know how to make fresh chocolate and wine from cacao fruit in an organic system. Let’s enjoy the best Mekong chocolate milk here. 10:00 am, minivan picks us up and travel to An Giang province, the sacred and beautiful land. The travel takes more than 3 hours. On the way, we stop for lunch at local restaurant. 2:00 pm, visit the charming Tra Su forest. Immerse yourselves in the wonderful nature with green duckweed on the water’s surface; take the local speedy boat cruising along small channels then move to rowing sampan boat peacefully weaving in the middle of forest. What a fantastic feeling! You are dropped off at hotel in Chau Doc at around 4:00 pm and rest. 6:00 pm is time for dinner at restaurant of hotel.

Day 4: Chau Doc – Sa Dec – An Binh island – Sai Gon (B,L

Get up in the morning and take a deep breath for feeling as local of this land. Enjoy your lovely breakfast at hotel. 7:00 am, we depart for boat trip. Board a lovely boat at pier and visit floating fish farm, Cham village to experience their daily life. Later, depart for Dong Thap, around 3 hours to visit the Visit Sa Dec flower village where there are many beautiful flowers. The flowers bloom depending on season but the most important thing is to deeply understand how they are important to villager’s life there. 12:00 noon, Travel to Vinh Long province, we have a nice lunch together at a lovely, quietly homestay with peaceful environment. Board boat and travel around the island, visit coconut candy factory, rice popcorn factory and taste its products right there. What a great moment to learn how the local people are still maintaining their traditional techniques to produce coconut candy and rice popcorn as nowadays, we only can buy at the supermarket but without seeing every single step for making them. 6:00 pm you are probably dropped off at hotel in Sai Gon center depending on the traffic.
